Ingredients

  • 2 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
  • 4 oz freshlybrewed coffee
  • Whippedcream and your choice of garnish chocolate curls, cinnamon, or festive sprinkles
  • 6 oz coffee mug (heat-safe)for serving in

Instructions

  • Step 1
    Add the liqueur to your mug. Itcan be a heated mug (this keeps the drink hotter for longer)
  • Step 2
    Pour the freshly brewed coffeenext, not stirring but rather swirling, this gently melts the two together andthe taste is more refined.
  • Step 3
    Add a dollop of cream to add richnessto the overall flavor and texture that milk doesn’t have, and then we have thewhipped cream enthusiasts.
    Note: Whipping the cream before hand till stiff peaks can turn a humble Kahlua coffee into a gourmet, magazine-looking festive beverage, and even more so if you infused it with a drizzle of caramel or toffee.
  • Step 4
    Garnish it with care. It could be soft flakes of chocolate, a pinch of cinnamonor nutmeg for a winter spicy bite, or to get the Christmas spirit flowing,serving your friends their coffees with red, green, and white sprinkles.
